Manager's Report
Wow, February flew by, bringing lots of changes to the co-op. We had our first “First Friday” event, an add-on to Member Appreciation Day featuring wine and food samples, music, and more. It was such a sweet time that we are looking forward to continuing this event. The next First Friday will be March 6th with cheese and wine samples from local Pennyroyal Farm, fresh vegan baked goods from Gabriella Lotan, and Blue Lotus chai lattes. Bryan Brown, a.k.a. “Brown Dog,” will be performing on his guitar...and perhaps inviting a few friends to join him!
Thanks to your feedback, we are expanding our cheese section. Check it out and let us know what you think! We also started #pizzatimetuesday and #milagrosdemiercoles -- lunch pizza every Tuesday and breakfast burritos every Wednesday. Mariamma has started baking heavenly lemon bars (usually in stock from Thursday through Sunday), and James is back from vacation and is supplying us with fresh Pelican bread once again.
We now have a “Customer Request Form” to help us track items you request. Anything you ask a staff member for should go on that form; be sure to give it to our manager Natalie or to me.
